On May 11, 2025, Budapest’s Szabadság Square came alive with celebration as Hungary marked the 21st anniversary of its accession to the European Union. The full-day public festival featured concerts, a running race, and engaging programs for families and visitors of all ages.
The Roma Rise project was proudly represented within a shared exhibition space, offering inclusive and interactive activities that sparked curiosity and conversation. Children and adults were invited to participate in themed games and crosswords, collect educational stickers, and learn more about how Roma Rise is working to empower Roma communities through education, digital tools, and positive representation.
