From 24–26 April 2026, 25 young participants from five countries gathered in Tirana, Albania, for the RomaRise Youth Exchange. The Erasmus+ event focused on leadership, community engagement, anti-discrimination, and Roma empowerment through workshops, institutional visits, and intercultural activities. Participants developed community action ideas and strengthened international cooperation for social inclusion.
On May 10, 2026, Budapest’s Szabadság Square came alive as the city gathered to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Hungary’s accession to the European Union. The day-long event brought together people from all walks of life for a packed schedule of concerts, a public running race, and diverse family activities.
On April 8, we celebrate International Roma Day, highlighting the culture, history, and contributions of Roma communities around the world. For the RomaRise project, this day is a chance to celebrate diversity, identity, and a shared sense of belonging. We are proud to be part of this journey and to work together towards a more inclusive and equitable future.
