On May 11, 2025, Budapest’s Szabadság Square came alive with celebration as Hungary marked the 21st anniversary of its accession to the European Union. The full-day public festival featured concerts, a running race, and engaging programs for families and visitors of all ages.
From May 5–7, 2025, the RomaRise project was disseminated during the RIDE2TEACH Experience Sharing and Content Planning Meeting in Budapest, Hungary. The event gathered educators, project partners, and stakeholders committed to inclusive and innovative educational practices.

April 8 marks International Roma Day, dedicated to celebrating Europe's largest ethnic minority—the Roma—many of whom still face discrimination and social exclusion. Beyond raising awareness of these challenges, the day also highlights the rich history, culture, language, and aspirations of Roma communities, which are often overlooked across Europe. Promoting these elements is essential to fostering mutual understanding and building stronger, more inclusive societies.

Networking and Awareness Raising for Roma Youth Participation is a key component of the ROMA-RISE project, aiming to enhance the engagement and visibility of young Roma within their communities and broader societal structures.
The main goal of this section is to use theater as a way for 45 Roma teenagers to self- represent themselves and develop their creative expression. We believe that art is a
powerful tool for fostering diversity and creativity, and that is why it is a part of our project.
