The RomaRise project successfully hosted its first international policy roundtable, “Voices Rising – International Dialogue on Campaigns Against Anti-Roma Practices and for Roma Identity,” on 21 October 2025.
Organised online by the Roma-Lom Foundation (Bulgaria) and the Regional Centre for Information and Scientific Development (Hungary), the event brought together 44 participants from 18 countries, including representatives from universities, NGOs, municipalities, and international organisations.
The discussion focused on strategies to challenge anti-Roma stereotypes, amplify young Roma voices, and strengthen transnational cooperation. Participants highlighted the importance of education, human rights, and cultural identity in promoting Roma inclusion and resilience.
The roundtable provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and networking, laying the foundation for future collaborations and policy dialogues across Europe.
